In OC-training was a Prom time. I know its customs from movies and they always feature a romantic relationship. Katie is pretty, hardworking student and does not speak too much. Who else Johnny may have a crash on? Having always a positive attitude he would be successful at asking tender-hearted girl for a dance.
In my homeland “Hundred-days-before” ball always starts with performance of polonaise, a traditional, simple, elegant, Polish dance. Who would my Prom king Marlow ask? Since he seems to not take the ball as a date, he would invite somebody influential because it is practical.
Arion, Thais, Kaisha? Whatever kind of powerful creature Arion is, he is male. Thais growth to lord of crime, so she may one day become civil-defense-attorney client – Marlow’s or Marlow’s opponent, so it is better to behave distantly. The Duchess remains.
