Duchess Dora Hasib, age 89
1. Dora takes an hour long walk each morning.
She does not want to fossilize as most of her living peers did. When it rains heavily she walks round palace corridors. In a winter she takes a lantern with her.
2. Dora acts as Minister of Knowledge.
She gathers scholars findings, orders researches and textbook editions, decides what would be printed, is formally in charge of capital’s and East Harbor’s library, (and keep an eye that West Harbor does not have one), coordinates annual scholars and physicians meeting in capital.
3. Dora has been told recently to appoint her successor.
For being next Getah people’s knowledge guardian she picked Treasurer’s son, a 14-year-old Damon. She and a boy are both happy about it.
4. Dora also acts as custody for capital’s orphans, as well as for abandoned old and disabled people.
During last fifty years she observed that most children who lost parents, in short time is soon cared about by some distant relatives, neighbors or other their vocational teacher. If one ends up at aristocracy’s house, it is high probably that something not feeling right about the person background.
5. Dora loves pears.
Dora’s current one and only charge, 15-year-old Moll, makes for her a lot of pears preserves and beverages during in season, for Dora to enjoy the flavor whole year.
6. Dora was engaged once.
She hardly recalls him now, but nobody later fascinated or understand her this well. The fiancé died in military “incident” at Advernian frontier. Fighting next to her.
7. Dora has a scar above her left breast.
This is souvenir from a duel with her sister, in which they secretly decided who would succeed the ruler.
8. Dora plays lute.
Her instrument is a six courses lute, tuned 4ths and mid-3rd. Its decorated with gold inlay, - three daylilies on fret board and a protective binding at edges, - and two strings of sapphires. Dora plays with a plectrum.

OK, here be 8 facts about Gree, the Ancient One.
1. It's a title for High Priestess; she's only about 220 years old. At the apex of the collective with access to histories future and past and therefore to Quil itself, she's supposed to be celibate. Like most Quilhiril, she has only one name.
2. Gree is your typical Quilhiril woman, tall and angular. Green eyes are common among her people, especially blacks. She's white.
3. Gree would rather potter about in her greenhouses than attend to her duties, but you disobey her at your peril. She is rarely seen in public, unless she's on duty. She has a foul temper, and everyone is afraid of her.
4. Her favorite things are the vampire plants. Visit her at your peril.
5. Twenty years ago, she broke her celibacy vows when she fell in love with the womanising President Edah of the Jiht Federation, the collective's bitterest enemy. Love is forbidden, an abomination, and it took Edah a year to seduce her. However, after the one time they consummate their relationship, she detected her pregnancy, and made the mistake of telling him. She had intended to leave the collective.
6. Believing she had made a fool of him, Edah sent her away with friends, who raped her without his knowledge. She is found three days later by Intelligence agents from the collective.
7. Her rape had violated Quil, hence the collective ramps up their schemes to exterminate the Jiht sub-species.
8. Her offspring wasn't supposed to survive, but not only does he survive, he undermines the collective's efforts to destroy the Jihts with his schemes to free his fellow slaves.
